I will have to try that. Those things are very difficult to lock on mine.

I use the Bent pick that comes with a screwdriver kit.

I've used a prybar before but that is so simple I've got to try it out on the ones that give me trouble.

Hopefully they won't dry out to quick under the cover!!! If they do we'll have to go back to old school.

I fixed mine....I put in an aftermarket air box :wink: Just kidding, nice idea.....those clamps are a b*tch especially when it is cold out.

So I installed my new UNI air filter yesterday and putzed around with those clips for about five seconds before saying to hell with this. Ran the zip ties through the spring clips and what a difference. This is a killer tip that works!
