I have been doing some reading, yes I know dangerous, and see the secondary spring can be tightened for heavier loads/ bigger tire. How is this done on a 22 Xrs rr? Will it help when I put a larger heavier tire? Any advice would be great. TIA

some models do not come with torsion spring ( no holes in the helix)
these compression spring models will need new/different spring
there are many videos on serving the QRS clutch
all qrs work the same, but there are some big differences
what I recommend is using a fish scale on the stock clutch
this will be like 15lbs, yours will probably be different
and then adjust the spring ( move to a different hole in helix)
and test again untill you get a little higher average like 18
all you need is vise grips and a fish scale to test
holding the clutch is the hard part...
doing it on a car with the cover is tough
about the only way is to remove the primary
going crazy and rotating the helix another 30 degrees
will give you a clutch that will not shift into high
cant use a scale then...
testing your new spring or setting is the answer
your looking for fast back/down shifting (no coasting)
and still shift into highest gear to achieve max speed
a new spring and a used spring are not the same
they get weaker as they age/use

Do you know offhand what my 2022 Xrs rr would have for holes, or just compression spring? I have never messed with these clutches before. I would be willing to buy a new spring and all tools if needed, but would like to know what I am getting into before I jump in with both feet.

Just pull your cover off and have a look. Have you ever had your cover off or changed a belt yet?
Had cover off and installed carbon fiber protector in case belt blows. Just never did any clutch work before. I don’t want to mess anything up with a rookie mistake.
