Hey guys, so a little while back i had to put a new belt on my 2015 maverick 1000, took it apart here a few days ago and discovered that i put it on backwards because i saw on a video that it was supposed to go with the arrow facing the other way, we took it out for a few weekends like this with the belt backwards, i have it flipped the right way now but my question is did running the belt backwards effect anything? do i need to put a new belt on it or should it be alright now that its the right way? thanks all

I think the only thing that matters is that you always run it in the same direction.

You need to put it back on "backwards" if that is how you ran it. Belts can be run either way from when they are new, the arrow is there just to help you put it back together the way it came apart.

If you have not run your car after flipping the belt, put it back the way it was.
If you have run your car you started the break-in process over.
