Who all is running 32's on their Sport or Sport variants? What all are you running? How are you liking the machine with them on and what kind of terrain do you ride mostly. I just installed a set of 32" Terra Hooks on my XRC so looking forward to trying them out in our forest trails, rocks, roots and light mud.

Those look good, did you change any clutching going to 32's or because of the weight of the tire it still works fine?

I know the 30" ITP Cryptids that came on our XMR are heavy af, I guarantee they make a 32" tire lighter than those lol

Good looking machine! I had Terra Hook's on my X3, and while they worked great for winter and mud, the summer conditions around here (BC Thompson region) are better suited to more of a desert type tire. I'm now running BFG KM3's for summer, and the Terra Hooks are for winter.

EDIT: I just looked at the background of your pics, we live in the same town. Lol.

32” XTR370’s stock clutching, 4638 mi on the original belt. Great tire for traction, very durable but HEAVY also took a lot of getting used to the sidewall flex when cornering. Definitely reclutching over the winter

One of the reasons I went with this particular tire is because of the weight, they are only 3.5lbs heavier than the stock Liberties are. With the stock wheels they weigh 50.5 lbs. So I definitely don't think clutching will be needed. Here are the weights.

Stock Liberties - 30"

Terra Hooks on the factory wheels

I did have a set of half worn 30" Carnivores on for one ride and they weighed very similar to the Liberties, this is the weight on the factory wheel.

Running 32 Carnivores on a Sport XRC. No clutching issues and riding mostly mountain trails with lots of rocks and some mud, Really good all round for this terrain
I was considering those as the other option, I actually put a set of used 30" Carnivores on for one ride to see how it rode. But tires are ridiculously priced in Canada here and the Terra Hooks were $100 per tire less expensive. So thought I'd give them a try.

Carnivores - definitely a great tire for the riding I do too.

Tell us how they go. I'll probably stay with the Carnie's unless more mud up north then some System 3's I think

32" BFGoodrich Mud Terrains . Installed with 25 miles on Machine. Mainly Trail and Hard pack road miles. They work fine in 20 inches of snow , just keep the speed up n keep them spinning if you're breaking trail .

Never been stuck, but i dont go out hunting for mud holes to go in . 5500 miles on it now. Tires are holding up very well. I run 16 PSI in them. Stock Clutching, Still on original Belt and original brake pads. Suspension has never been adjusted up. And no rubbing or clearance issues even with snow plow on.

How do you like the Dalton clutch? Did you install yourself and if so how hard was it to do? Do you get any rubbing on those 33’s?
Install wasn’t too bad, getting the primary off and the governor cup separated is kinda exciting though lol. Got most of my rpm back, could still use about 150 rpm to get back to max stock performance.
I do have rub at full lock, tried to get rid of it with preload (now sitting at 17” ground clearance). It didn’t work so I have a full set of SATV arms to put on this winter.

Went on a little 293 km (182mi) ride yesterday.

We got into some beautiful country, most of this was fast (60-100 km/hr) riding on forest service roads but we did get into some crawling through deactivated areas and I'm really impressed with the tires so far. They perform well at the higher speeds, but seem to work really well crawling over logs, roots and slippery rocks in the slower going. I think I'll rotate the tires every 500 km and see how long they'll last but everything is positive so far. I ran them at 12 psi, but think I'll try them at 10 psi next ride.
The machine is awesome, I ran it in eco mode all day, even at the faster speeds. This thing seems to love 85 km/hr and 6500 rpm, it is very comfortable there and runs with very little effort. I did add 10 liters (2.5 gal) and got back to the truck with one bar left on the gauge, so very happy with the fuel economy. On my shorter rides I have ran it on the sport mode and it does make a power difference, but this ride was about finding the range on a longer trip. 32's seem to be the sweet spot with tire size as well, the lighter weight Terra Hooks didn't make hardly any difference in power output and they are amazing through the obstacles. I'll update further as I ride. I also am running 1.5" spacers all around, so my width is sitting at 67".

i had terra hooks in 32s on my sport as well. Best tire by far. Nice and light, lots of grip, never felt any power loss from stock tires and they wore excellent. I found 10-12psi to be the sweet spot for them and never got a single flat like that. Only thing I wish I would have done is have them balanced like an automotive tire, i found on pavement at 100km/h it had a noticeable shake in the wheel. Just sold my sport and got a new 2022 commander max XTP which has factory 30s. Thinking about upgrading to 32 terra hooks eventually on that machine is well, if not possibly even bigger.

My buddy and I both switched from OEM Maxxis Liberty 30" within first 1k miles to Maxxis Carnivore 32". Big improvement in directional control on loose terrain plus have worn well despite multiple punctures due to the Carnivore open lug tread design. Both machines now just short of 7k miles (nearly all off-pavement) are in DIY maintenance mode for a few days after returning home from seasonal "high country" activity before resuming routine volunteer work (inspection, mapping, data collection) with a non-profit group advocating open trails that works closely with regional USFS).

We both purchased replacement sets of Maxxis Rampage 32", which we're hopeful will retain similar directional control goodness, avoid rocks being tossed up then driven into with glass windshields plus wear at least as well as the Carnivores while minimizing between-the-lugs punctures. We did have the Carnivores balanced when mounted which results in no highways vibrations at prox 60 mph and will do same with Rampage. Our local terrain is rocky sharp granite, so we'll finish off the Carnivores while keeping the new Rampages in reserve until we prep for next season in eastern AZ's high country. BTW, I'm running mine with stock clutch while my buddy continues using significantly heavier clutch weights which reduce normal operating RPMs by prox 1k plus reduce engine temps in nearly all conditions (he averages consistently prox 10% higher mpg than mine, yet both both nearly 20 mpg). His objectives with those clutch weights were to achieve noticeable dBA reduction (Rotax 1000cc with CVT designed to optimize power as quickly as possible and hold at those rpms, despite associated noise levels). Point of this is that he essentially "geared down" numerically in combo with larger than 30" OEM spec tires. Therefore, no need to "gear up" numerically with clutch mods to accommodate 32" tires on MavS X-variant machines...
