Almost 200 miles with these 32" CST Sandblast paddles and no clearance issues. The wheels are 5+2 with very little if any steering feedback in the bumps. The carcass is a true 32" @ 10 psi plus 3/4" of paddle on 7" wheels all around - front 10" wide and back 12" wide (actual paddle width is 10.5"). Very pleased with the tires. They definitely make the cross ruts (with Gary's suspension) rather pleasant. Only wish would be for the paddles to be 1/4" or shade more in height for more bite. They spin out of the hole a bit, but once on top on the sand they do well at speed. I ran 2 and 4 wheel drive a lot. Car drives well in both. The back holds rather well in slides. I assume the knobs in between the paddles provide some lateral stability. The front tires steer very well in 2 and do not pull steer at all in 4 (I do not have the Visco lock). Predictably noticeable difference in launch and hill pull in 4 over 2. Were they fun and able to get me around; yes. All for a gnat's a$$ hair over a grand w/ wheels.

32" CST Sandblast paddles

I bought a set of the 30" Sandblasts because they measure pretty much exactly the same as the stock 30" Bighorns. I'm mounting them on 7" wide up front and 9" wide on the rear. I drove them for a day just to test on the stock wheels and I was thoroughly impressed with how well they did at speed, how they steer and had great hookup. Best of all I feel virtually no power loss in the sand, super snappy and fast. I was all set to buy STUs but fell in to a very cheap deal on these and figured I would try them out since they weigh just about the same as an STU but for 1/3 of the price.

What air pressures you guys running in your CSTs? I got a set of 30s on 7 inch wide rims and they told me 6 to 10 psi. Im just curious what others are running since I've been reading people with skats are running 10 psi or more. So far though like you guys loving the tires especially for the price.

I just bought a set of the 32's, I hope to get out to the dunes soon. They are on 7" wheels and they look better then I thought they would, even on a narrow wheel the rears didn't dome up much

Just asking, but aren't the front tires backwards? Shouldn't the points be facing forward, for less drag? Maybe it's the pic?

I have the 32' on wheels with zero offset and had them out in the Oregon Dunes south of Florence last Saturday (first time)
If you know the Oregon dune sand, it is nothing like Glamis, the sand is very fine and feels almost 'greasy'.
The rears hook up well, but could use a little more paddle; once going the tire performs well and will not roost the guy behind you.
And most of all, the tires are very comfortable at 10psi, but still very responsive slinging around the bushes and trees :)

I have the 32" on 15x7 non-beadlock rims. I ran them at 6 psi at Glamis.
I like them. They work better than Big Horns and I also got a smoking deal on them.
With the Evo Stage 3 power the car wants to go sideways on dirt or sand, so I will probably not cut off the little knobbies.
I am a novice duner so my opinion carries little weight.

Where did you get the smoking deal?

I run my front tires "reversed" . I was told They have the potential to grab more while turning and catch an edge. So I have only ran the, that way. I plan on trying them out next trip with the ribs facing forward to see if I can tell a difference.

I'm running the CST 32" on 15" 5x2 HD4 non-bead locks on all 4 corners. My car is the max, and I'm very impressed on how my car works with them. I went back and forth, like other on what set of paddle to run. I to was looking at Skats, cause that what I had on my old 14'max. But I fell into a great deal from a friend that only bought them just for one dune trip. I paid $800 wheels & tire one trip. I'm running them with 12lbs on the front and 10lbs rear cause the Max is a little heavier car. So having to keep the front end up on these longer car, the 15"wheels help. I have done the shock adjustment setup too 15 1/2". My car is all stock expect for the cat delete, I didn't notice any power loss or lag when getting on the gas. they were a big improvement over the big horn, and they are weight wise lighter then the stock big horns. So for me it was the money saving over what everything else.

I just measured the diameter of my CST 32" Sandblast tires on 15x7 rims front and rear at 6 psi.
I measured both tires at the carcass, excluding the paddles on the rear tires and hooks on the front tire.
The rear measured 32.375 = 100.7" circumference and the front measures 31.875 = 100.1" circumference.
I should mention that CST calls for a wider rim in the rear, which may reduce the diameter a little to match the front.

Is it undesirable to have a larger roll out in the rear than the front?
Usually it's the other way around, right?
Should I try to compensate with air pressure?

I have already used the tires at Glamis and I didn't notice anything, so I am thinking it doesn't matter in the sand as long as the diameters are close.

How did you measure the roll out? I have 32's CST's as well.
I haven't seen a compass large enough!
