Noisey clutch, steering wheel off center and leaking rear shock... all normal poor assembly work I'm assuming?

Why haul it when your buddy just took delivery of a RZR Pro from Camp RZR and let them drive back to El Centro, Ca? Lol.... I posted a few issues on the RZR.

Just curious if all new machines should expect these issues? I would take a wild guess that FOX did not install the shocks, bypass and adjust them accordingly either....

It was quite the ride.. sore and bruised..
And the only damage was our egos and drivers side lower control arm..
Drove it back to camp..

I agree...I expect high quality. Steering is off on mine as well. Many plastic junctions don't meet correctly. Sounds like its coming apart at 5100 rpm. If it was 19k then maybe not so bad...but for 28k not including add-ons.... I expect top of the line.

Truth is the $29k is 90% the $19k with some more add ons. I wouldn’t expect quality to be any different really unless it’s got a different motor and frame and majority of assembly.

Take the SVT fords. Motor was built by hand on most, everything else is the same factory assembly. Same quality with a hell of a motor (well a hell of a lot better anyway) some came with sand cast rods in a 5.4 under a roots charger.. but I digress

There is a lot of manufacturing out there pumping out crap, mostly to turn a profit. Some just suck as a whole. From where I was 3 months ago ready to drop $20k on a turbo S that would blow up often, I almost justified that as just the way it is. Then I found this site, thanks for that. It opened my eyes to step away from the RZR. Not saying these are flawless but there is far less issues I’m seeing.

Btw the wheel being off, I’d think that’s a electrical setting somewhere.

Been in it since 2006..
I don't expect too much.. except lots of smiles..
I'm just happy hubby and I have the same hobby..And we both can attempt to fix any of the crap that will possibly happen..
We possibly could be miles away from any dealer, so warranty work is a no go

Love living off the grid..

This is pretty shocking to me. All of us hope that with each successive year a model will be improved with upgrades AND BETTER QUALITY CONTROL. Let's be on the lookout for any more unusual problems with the 2020 RR.

Ours needed a driver's warning label that read something like...

"While driving any vehicle at nighttime following in excessive dust with your poor frontal lighting, your risk of a rollover may increase with excessive speeds on corners after consuming alcohol in the prior 8 hours of said day."

It all comes down to leaky shocks.

These things are pricey that is for sure!!!
But we all keep buying them and from what I have seen the X3 beats everything out ther in most categories. They are not perfect but going to the dunes each year the sand drags are being lined with more and more X3 every year.
Get a good warranty and use it when needed.
