2026 Maverick R XRC - Things I have learned

Here are some of the things I have discovered with my 2026 RC version so far. I spent the entire weekend in the garage installing stuff.

1. While it doesn't state it on their website, the rear ACM harness is also installed from the factory. The plugs for the chase lights and particle separator are already there waiting for me.

2. The plug for the bumper light bar is there, but not up front where you would expect it. It is bundled up under the dash. You need to run it through the firewall yourself.

3. I run the Rugged Radio setup. The mount they send for the M1 radio does not install as intended. The amps are right behind where the M1 installs, so the mount has to be attached below the bar and tilted upwards. I could only get two of the four screws in, but it should be fine.

4. Because the ACM is already installed, there are 8 power and ground wires sitting in the center console. These are controlled through the ACM. They are small gauge wires and are more appropriate for either low amp devices or to trigger a relay for higher amp items.

5. There are unknown plugs all over this thing. As an example, behind the driver side head light is two fused wires that are blunted and just tapped to the harness, no labels and no clue what they are intended for.

I'll update this as I find more things.
