From my recon the dual phase stuff is sourced out of the country, and heat treating isn’t don’t because according to their specs it reduces the tensile strength. This isn’t chromoly where it’ll work harden or get brittle if heat effected. The steel they used is specifically designed to be good in cycle loading like what these cars go through. But that looks suspicious. Hope they make it right.
2022 frame crack
We have about 1500 miles and this is showing up on both sides at the rear of the door where the plate comes off the chaiss for mounting the doors . It hasn’t been rolled we do a lot of off roading riding and trail rides. At first I thought bad powder coat job.
