I put a set of digital calipers on the down tube on my 21 yesterday and today on a 22. I don't know where they thickened the tube or went larger on the 22 but it wasnt on the down tube. Good luck with getting the crack fixed. If they don't own it drill a small hole at both ends of the crack so it stops cracking, and any good welder can fix that right up. Dual Phase 980 tube at 1.85 OD doesn't have any wall thickness options from any US vendor but don't know where CA sources there steel.

Yeah Down tube as in Lower B Pillar not where the reservoirs mount. Checked there and then on the rear horizontal tube that runs along engine tranny. Only thing I could find was an upgrade on the 2020 model that calls out the tube where the trialing arm mounts are and the upper rear shock mount tube. The 2022 does call out 30% just don't know where that 30% increase is located. OP, hope your dealer does you right .

Yeah the Dual Phase 980 is good acts like spring steel. However since we already pay in excess of 30K for a machine I would kick in another 1.5 for Chromoly or even just DOM tubing with .095 and for shits and giggles 120 wall on the load bearing tubes. The measurements I got were right at 1.72mm to 1.82 mm but the powder coating mils is unknown.
