Beware and ck,
So first off, we do not drive our X3 hard, we live in NAZ so the cinders and some sand dunes in CA. Obviously we hit hard on some dunes or cinder berms. But again we do not push this machine like a lot do. We took down the stock front bulk head and stock bumper (no bumper) today and this is what we found. The thin metal was torn, the radiator fan shroud was demolished.

So to all that are riding hard with the stock bumper, BEWARE!!
You can see from the pics the stock bulk head was torn on both sides

FYI, we ordered the Geiser Can Am X3 Double row bumper and bulkhead, this will not happen again!

While you're doing all that, might as well throw on a shock brace too.

These X3 chassis are so thin and the metal is not very ductile making it worse. The chassis seems to be a limited life component that will likely need replacing before the drive train wears out.

This is why we have a real solution to the plastic shroud. Everything else is just a band aid. Pair this with a decent bulkhead and kiss your problems goodbye.
