Been fighting this for too long now, the 72" width is too much for the trails I am riding now and tired of fighting it in the trailer. Looked at just trading it in on a smaller unit, but I really like the machine and have put on some extra goodies that I hate to get rid of. Any chance there is someone with the 64" set up that is interested in swapping parts? Not sure what years or models interchange. Looking for a good winter project anyways.

Yep, definitely need a location. If you find someone which shouldn't be hard arrange to do both machines at the same place, yours or theirs, whoever has the nicer shop. That way you can make sure you both get everything you need and there's no surprises.
Welcome from Tucson AZ. IMO, if you really want a 64" model, and you been given reasons why not to get one, take your goodies off, trade your 72" in on a 64", providing you can find one, put your goodies back on. A lot less hassle and headaches.
I have a complete 64” suspension with HCR rear trailing arms.. I am in San Dieg. Let me know.
