Well i bit my tongue and bought a 2014 red and white maverick xxc. i got a few questions but before i ask ill clarify what ill be using it for.

I will not be jumping it at all.
I will not be mud running at all.
Ill stick with the stock tire size.

Ill be riding logging roads and trails, not abusing it at all.

Question is if im driving it nice and not jumping it and not mud running is there any major problems ill have? obviously theres flukes. Im aware of that. but tie rods and belts and what not? if i drive it nicely can i expect these to go wrong?

thanks

I have the same Mav. Not had a problem but I replaced those tie rods items early on. All it takes is a bad hole, rock or stump to bend the stock tie rods. Lots of people on here with stories on tire rod problems. On the other hand, if you are only riding groomed roads slowly, you will probably be ok. The stock belt appears to be good from what I have read, still on it myself, but I carry a spare.
