How did you reinforce your cage? Pictures please if you could.
Search "mods to my cage" on here. I can't load pics now, but mine is just like his. Cost me around $120 in metal and 3hrs of my time. I did however leave the front part out till I get my windshield so I can make sure it fits

I hope Can Am Is reading this thread. They could learn a few things... I agree 100% on the cage reinforcement considering the speeds , and yes a 4/5 harness is a great improvement and should be standard . It would keep you and the seat in its place ,but there is no damn way a seat should ever come out . I know it's convenient that it comes in and out and has to be removed to do everthing but being held in with a stick of iron is in acceptable ... Dammit ! When was the last time you heard of someone's seat falling out of their car ? Oh wait , a car cost $15k to $20k ... Wait a minute ! WTF?!?

Take the factory tab off and weld a u bolt in its place where the seat latches and that will solve the problem of the latch bending or breaking. Btw, I never had a problem with it, just wanted a piece of mind. There's a how to thread on hear about that and everything else you want to know. Just search and read.

They are not out here yet, may be another month.. What about the seats have they taken care of that? also the tie rods. Guess we will wait till all of this is addressed first to get ours..
Alright the tie rods are exactly the same on the 14's the seats on the max seem a little more secure, and as far as the clutch goes they added another intake to the box right in front of the secondary.

Clif, I'll look into that . I already heard of a fix ,but I was just venting... It's just the fact that these issues could have been taken care of already so we don't have to continue to spend our time and money on bullshit ... You understand I'm sure.....

Clifs maverick, did you weld that to the frame or use the bolt on ends? Also the bottom bar going across did you use that one for the harness?
Thank you..

I welded everything solid. No bolts, I even welded the cage above the seats where it bolts together to make it one piece. I saw a cage shear those bolts in a roll over. And yes, the horizontal bar is what my harness is hooked to.
