Hello i have performed my maintenance on the mav. Oil change front diff, back diff, engine etc. But i cant get the "Maintenance required" to stop coming across the screen at startup. I have followed the operators manual step 3-9 in under 5 secs but it still will not go away. yes the key was tried in both positions. No the engine was not running, Yes i shut off the key and waited for the display to turn off at the end of the programming sequence. I noticed if i hold the brake on for longer than 15 sec the light will NOT come on like it should. does your light come on if brake is pressed for longer than 15 secs. is there a switch in the master cylinder by chance.

thanks for your help

I got mine the first try on the mav, but I couldn't never get it on my commander. Even the guys at the dealer couldn't get it to go off on my commander without putting it on the computer. I can't remember the sequence on the mav but I thought it was simpler than the commander. I will have to check the manual again.

Is this the sequence you tried?
-Press override button and hold
-press and release brake pedal
-release override button
-press and release brake pedal
-press override button and hold
-press and release brake pedal
-release override button

Under 5 seconds.
This was different than the commander.

I turned key to on and stomped brake pedal and pushed override a bunch of times for about 5 seconds and then turned key off. Only way I finally got it to work..
