Has anyone had to remove their rear axle to repair a drive shaft boot? Any info on the removal would be helpful! Thanx guys!
Exactly how you do it.pretty easy to do.
Remove tire.
Undo hub from upper & lower a-arms.
Push axle in then pull out all in one motion.
InnerWhich boot did you rip, inner or outer?
Yep, has a c-clipIs it loaded with a ring like rhino? I know how to do them well! Lol
On the quads you can pull the other axle and use a hammer and punch to knock it out. Not sure if you can with these diffs or notany tricks on removing the inner CV joint from the differential when the axle breaks off at the joint? I can used the hammer affect by pushing in the axle and pulling it out quickly and I can't get it to budge....
