Has anyone had to remove their rear axle to repair a drive shaft boot? Any info on the removal would be helpful! Thanx guys!

I know Alex has had to replace several axles…..shoot "AReed" a message.

pretty easy to do.
Remove tire.
Undo hub from upper & lower a-arms.
Push axle in then pull out all in one motion.

any tricks on removing the inner CV joint from the differential when the axle breaks off at the joint? I can used the hammer affect by pushing in the axle and pulling it out quickly and I can't get it to budge....

On the quads you can pull the other axle and use a hammer and punch to knock it out. Not sure if you can with these diffs or not
