I'm in the process of changing out the lower rear a arms and I can't remove the clip that holds the radial joint in place. Is there a special tool or does somebody have a trick they could help me out with. Thanks

I took my rear a arm off yesterday without any special tools. I don't know what a radial joint is but the a-arm is sitting on the floor. got both upper and lower one off. Just got to get axle off and they swap the cv joints from my xxc axles to xrs axles. That is my challenge.

To add to this because I just went through this myself, I placed the flat head sturdy jewlers screw driver (medium size, not too small, not too big) at a 45 degree angle under the lip of the split ring. So the screw driver is wedged in on the back edge of the cut part of the split ring.

When in the right position, you can literally hammer the screw driver (gentle to medium love-taps) and it'll drive the screw driver under the ring and because the screw driver tip is behind the ring, it will force the ring up and out.
