    About greasing the axle

I'm following the advise of others here about greasing the axle, even on my new ride. The grease tool and grease (Lucas Red) have been ordered. I've watched a few online videos and feel good about doing this myself. My question is, can I use a battery operated grease gun (have one I use on my tractor) or can that damage something? Thanks for any input.

Just don't go wild and while you, have things apart take those mud scrapers off and leave them off unless you are a mudder but honestly they help rocks gouge holes on the inside of your rims

X2 on that it won't hurt anything. I do mine every 1000 miles when I change the engine oil.

Do you have to be concerned about blowing out a grease seal if you overgrease using the tool?

I put 10 pumps in ? If you will hurt them by over greasing but can end up making a mess and I have seen the seals get pushed out before

Just don't go full Retard pumping..they come with 1 pump of grease from the factory so a couple pumps every 50 hrs won't hurt or blow out any seals.( I'm not a BRP mechanic but do play one on the internet...) Keep it lubed

I decided to use a hand pump to grease the axle. After removing the hubs, I could see a little white lithium grease on the spindle. After upwards of 30 pumps of my Lucas Red, only the red escaped. Very little factory grease on these things!

It's the bearing, not the axle.
