Well it's a stage three, with billet wheel.. For max boost at 3000 feet on 91 pump
Some more testing on the dyno this past weekend with my mcx180 kit. All pulls were made on 100LL av fuel just to be safe as we turned the boost up a little
It's still a little rich on the top end and I'm sure it'd yeild a little higher numbers if was leaner but I'm happy where it's at For my needs.
What are you using for an air filter Shane and exhaust? I freed both up some on mine and it's making a lot more boost at lower rpm, so I am summizing that things are running more efficient, though I have not yet been back to the Dyno. I was gonna dial back the boost to 11psi and run pump gas for derby season, but I can't get it that low, need to source a weaker waste gate spring.
So how are these turbo kits doing against the factory turbo setups stock or built up stock setups?
I am currently at utv invasion st anthony idaho dunes with my mcx turbo maverick. I can make it up all the hills that i have tried with ease. Choke cherry is next tomorrow and the dyno. I will try to post dyno. This kit kicks some serious ass.
2013 Maverick XRS, blingstar Doors, Super ATV PS, 2500 Superwinch, Rage 3 STM clutches, Turnkey topper, HID lights with LED Halos Heated seats, clutch blower fan, mcx turbo kit, evo exhaust, evo cat delete, pro armor harnesses and seats. 3 inch chopped stock cage.
I run the MCX kit as well and I smoke all the factory turbocharged guys. Like stated by a couple others in the thread, kit runs as if it were factory installed. Got a great deal on it from Grant @ BOOST'N & ROOST'N - Highly recommended company to work with and he was able to provide a ton of insight since he runs the same kit on one of his personal Maverick's.
