    Another factor not yet mentioned with these machines is how low to the floor/ground the driver/passenger sits as affects forward visibility in varying terrain. Each driver must weigh the benefits of increased protection vs optimal ventilation and visibility clarity through (any) windshield.

    I believe Visibility is better than our last off road vehicle (Jeep wrangler TJ)
    And in the maverick sport, seating position is in between the CanAm Defender and X3.

    This illustration depicts what I meant with line of sight from seated position to trail "objects" being harder to "read" that low to the ground. BTW as point of reference, my other rig is a trail-prepped lifted Jeep TJ owned since new nearing 20 yrs. Jeeping is a different off-pavement experience with superior protection and relative comfort while the Maverick is more fun!

    Ya, agree with all that! Lol we just got rid of our ‘99 TJ for the fun factor of the maverick, do miss the A/C

    We can’t wait to get down to Moab and hit all our favorite trails this fall.
    But now, instead of doing 1 trail per day..... we will be able to do, see, explore more
