    Windshield Glass vs Lexan

Just traded in my trail this weekend for a Sport Max 1000R. First upgrades will be a roof and windshield. There is a local company here that makes a "scratch resistant" lexan 1/4" folding windshield for $300. Ryfab has the glass folding windshield for around $550. Is glass worth it, I am worried with the lexan I will dealing with scratching and am worried it will attract more dust.

    What is everyone else doing?

After searching around a bit, think I will suck it up and pay for glass, the Ryfab looks great for the price.

Glass is only way to go. All lexan will scratch...glass does too, but it’s not as easily seen and it’s much more resistant to scratching than hard coated lexan

How is the ryfab when it's down? I just worry about it being busted when laying down and hauling butt on back roads. Can you open it for a vent and still go fast?

I found a "scratch and dent" RMATV used on one of their machines for a youtube video. Looks brand new and got the Ryfab for $440 shipped. I will let you know how it holds up when I install it in the down position.
