One other cool thing about Royal Purple is you can see it on the dipstick.

I'm figuring the price will go up on the Predator with both its popularity and maybe the Tariff issues.
So with the sale I bit.

We've experienced days at Dumont Dunes where we ran the heat all night then the AC all day.
    Death Valley weather.
Nice to have a portable that can handle it. If we have to run 2 or 3 ACs then the Onan house unit gets the nod.

Friend Geo Jeff has a 10.000 Onan in his MH and running the little Predator for the crock pot and one AC makes good sense, saves a lot of fuel over a week.

I was at DJ's bar in Ridgecrest last week and a guy was trying to convince me his Solar will run his RV 15000 AC. Not buying into that but just to be sociable I kept my opinion to myself.

I have seen some utube vids of running your ac off of solar, but you need the soft start on the a/c’s and a pretty big inverter and and nice set of LiFep04 batterys and a large solar aray. So for around 6/8000 $$ you could run your a/c on solar but it wouldn't be an all day for the week kind of thing solar is great but pretty pricey to do it right , the biggest cost is the battery bank you cant cheap outon the batts. Its way cheaper to go genset unless your full timing it on an off grid system then you still need the back up genni, + Id install a wind turbine for night time charging

Big wheel kit came this morning
    Took just minutes to install.
Needed a few extra spindle washers to "shim" the wheels so they don't rub and jive OK with the wheel lock.

Looks almost comic book. Is it ever light and easy to move around with the bigger wheels.
Keeping the old wheels in case I have to warranty it.

I’ve been tipped off Predator defaulted back to the cheap-o Torch spark plug and to swap it out at 30 hours.
    We'll see today.
Supposed to really carbon up and foul the first 30 hours.

I Amazon Primed a couple NGK BR7res and will use one for just that today.
Actually it’s a common plug that Vato Zone and the other chains don’t seem to stock anymore.
    At least not out here.

Well, that was bad info I got. It's a Bosch plug and looks fine.
It'll be a month before we head out again so I drained the carb and stowed it in the TH.

Carb bowl drain screw. Gas is shut off with selector knob on stop.
