Been busy. Dodge filter installed, Kids car serpentine belt and tensioner plus added a digital volt meter to monitor stereo and relocated bass knob to a better place. Canam trailing arms off and prepped for welding. Gusset plates cut out. Made some wheel bearing press dies which made bearing removal and install a breeze.

How I spent my 4th of July Holiday ...

Count me in on the "loser" list. My company performs commercial property restorations and we work 24 hours a day every Holiday & Holiday weekend. The majority of the commercial property's we service are practically empty during these Holidays, making our projects easier to access with limited liability issues.

Plus I get back to my office earlier this week to find my main PC's harddrive went bad while I was gone. After the initial panic subsided, I bought a new computer system and have spent days recovering data from decades of several businesses and personal finance. My wife's only concern is some of the pictures that were on that harddrive. Fortunately I have several "cloud" and a remote harddrive that I've used redundantly over the years.

Could be worse, at least I'm not recovering from open heart surgery like my Brother is.

I should be able to steal a few hours this weekend to start putting my car back together. Need some desert Therapy real bad !!! Hope the air conditioner works !!!

Happy Independence Day to all. And thanks to all of our brave Veterans who sacrificed to insure our Independence, Freedom & Liberties.

Well im staying home this long weekend and wrenching. Been working 12 hour days the last few months and have not had time to do some projects.

I have to replace a serpentine belt on my daughters car for a 1” shorter one. Because Dad put in a big stereo with two amps and then a 220 amp alternator that has a smaller pull. The smaller pulley lets the tensioner relax too much and bounce around making a purring sound. Nothing like creating more work for myself, I have to pull the wheel off the car and fender liner just to get to the tensioner bolt. Sum bitches!!!

Second project is adding a Mopar severe duty fuel filter to the trusty Megacab. She is on 06 and only has one filter and could use to keep my injectors from having issues.

Third one is my X3. I want to pull the trailing arms off and add the S3 style weld on gusset kit(sorry Dustin ill cut my own out since shipping to AZ is a lot for some flat plate). Then replace trailing arm pivot bushing, wheel bearings and rear axle shafts just because they have seen 5000 miles of MEGA abuse not because they are showing any signs of wear. Also i have to pull off my exhaust and sell it to a buddy and build myself another one.

Last one is trim some palm trees and bolt my metal framed gazebo down before the monsoon season relocates it to the neighbors yard.

What are you losers doing if you are not out enjoying the trails????
That's all ??? So what are you doing Saturday night and Sunday???

Probably a bad sensor or wiring issue.
I've had the DEF sensor(s) replaced once (recall) and fuc#ing rodents chewed the affected wiring harness once on my Duramax. PITA.
DEF fluid is basically cat piss and mineral water. I miss blasting Prius's with clouds of diesel exhaust.

Hey now, I've heard loud music blasting from Mega's garage before.

Moving sucks, but you might find a couple tools (like 10mm wrenchs) in the process). Congrats on the new house. When's the house party??? We'll help "train" the new neighbors.
