This is one of the modifications I have made to my maverick, a high intake intake.
In the area where we move there is a lot of dust, and this accumulated in the Donaldson filter, due to the position of the air inlet above the wheel.
We assemble PVC of 90 mm of diameter glued and coupled with some clamps.
The operation is optimal, having almost no dust collecting the filter.
that is one very big reason why i bought an xmr, for the snorkels. i agree that the intake location on the side of the fender seems like a bad place to me.

The problem with that snorkeling system is the price, too expensive for my pocket.
The snorkel that manufactures has an internal section of 90 mm, could you tell me how many mms it is that you have mounted. in case I had to modify it.
