    Thought on Clunk Sound

    19 XRS Max

Stock shocks with Fox adjustment spec done.

Drove too fast into a dip and I bottomed out.

After that the front suspension started to develop a clunking sound every time the shock cycles beginning at 20 mph.

I traced the clunking sound to the front right collar that separates the two coils when I rock the rig side to side.

Rig is in shop now under warranty claim pending BRP approval.

What do you guys think? It looks simple enough to get to the collar and inspect its setting.

I am a noob thus seeking your wisdom.

    Thanks,

    Tim

Loose or broken swaybar link. I have never seen an issue with the plastic coil cups.

Maybe just turn up the radio until the clunk goes away?

X3 on sway bar. I broke three of them before going to ST upgraded link. You will get a big clunk when it hits linkage, or if it is loose it can happen.

Sound you are hearing is the clutch and it’s normal when it engages
