Stock belts seem to hold up well for most. Tim

They claim 3 times the life of OEM belt... Same price... not much to lose.

    Test and report!

I'm now running the Dayco XTX5034. 300 miles so far (200 of them hard dune miles at St Anthony's) and no issues. $85 shipped via eBay or Amazon.

I was thinking the same. They claim they haven't been able to break one in any of their cars. The only other aftermarket belt I've seen that has Severe in the name is EPI.

I picked up one of these to have a cheap spare. Haven't tried it yet tho. I'm at 1200 miles and still on the original belt.

On my last Maverick I kept an inexpensive belt like that so if someone needed a belt and to "loan" them one I wouldn't be out a 190.00 dollar belt. It also made a good second spare. Tim

My max is a belt eater for sure. The trinity belt I tried lasted 300 miles and it was supposed to be 5 times better . I'll order one now and see so far oem is the best . They last me much longer desert riding. But I have 2 dune trips coming up so we'll see.
