    Intercooler airflow.

My X3 has a Bent Metal vented windshield and a plastic rear window. My concern is if the intercooler is getting enough airflow. I was thinking of some sort of reverse spoiler or scoop from the roof to direct some air down. Has anyone solved this?

electric fan PULLS air into the cooler not direct forward movement air. BUT with two windshields you will create a negative air pocket above the intercooler and it ends up sucking hot air from engine through the fins. Hot air over the intercooler will prevent you from making power. Nothing too bad but you will not make the power the car is capable of.

That's why I thought of a spoiler or scoop of sorts to direct some air down behind the roof. What would you suggest?

    since you asked.

I would suggest be a man and toss the windshield and rear window aint no REAL man needs to hide from the wind and elements.

When you take the windshield , heater and AC out of your Truck, then I know you're serious about manning up. Tim

Mega is like a grizzly at Yellowstone. You can look but don't get out of the car to feed him. You most often won't come back and if you do it is without an arm!!!!
A scoop could work or if you have an s&b just vent it to the intercooler. If you in the snow I don't know if your warm engine air will be hot enough to matter much.
P.S. mega likes bugs and glitter unicorn pies gold on everything. It makes him cranky when people don't like no bugs!
