Cool...PRP Seats makes them....I called them earlier and they said they know they will work on the diameter but need the length...Made from neoprene....If you have the length Ill call them tommarow and get the ball rollin
i am not a fan of shock covers. you cannot see if they are seeping and they keep heat in. There is alot of heat in the rear of the car, so much that the plastic sheilds melt and sag. With neopreme covers i would be worried about them melting to the shock and creating a mess.
I think it's the easiest way to get rid of some more yellow. And with 101 hp and how fast the rear a arms got sand blasted down to bare metal, I want to keep that roost off the rear shock shafts.
I rode mine 100 miles first time out this weekend and I kept feeling for this heat in the rear everyone is talking about- frame was just warm at best... Temp never got over two bars
BRP makes them for the Maverick. They look good, Black with white Can AM. I've had mine for 6 months, no problem. I take them off every time I wash it and let them dry out. Takes 10 seconds to put them back on. Shocks and springs clean every time. They are in the catalog. #715001324 Its a Commander number but they fit great.
The only thing that I can see by the picture is BRP's seem a little loser not quite as tight as PRP and a little thicker. Seems like the ones above look thin. You can't see the spring showing thru on Can Am's covers.
